Shaquille O’Neal’s college days at Louisiana State University inspired the Reebok Shaq Attaq “LSU Tigers” colorway of Shaq’s first signature sneaker. Originally released in 1992, the Shaq Attaq was a part of one of the biggest marketing campaigns an NBA rookie had ever seen. Shaq, and his Dunkman logo that was debuted on the Reebok Shaq Attaq, was everywhere. After 3 seasons at LSU averaging over 21 points per game, over 13 rebounds per game and nearly 5 blocks per game during his college career, Shaq was drafted by the Orlando Magic and the entire world was eager and waiting to see the big man take over the NBA.
