Air Jordan 3 Retro Black History Month

The Air Jordan 3 is most famous for its iconic “Elephant Print” design but in 2011, the Air Jordan 3 “Black History Month” edition changed it up for the first time. When Tinker Hatfield originally designed the Air Jordan 3 and presented it to Michael Jordan in an effort to keep him from leaving Nike, the Elephant Print around the toebox and on the heel of the AJ3 was one of the things that caught MJ’s attention. The BHM Jordan 3 however, used Black History Month inspired graphics in place of the famous Elephant Print making this version one of the most uniques Jordan 3 designs of all time. 2011 was a big year for BHM sneakers.
